Biography

Martina Bačová studied Violin in Czechia, Germany and the United States and has given concerts all over Europe, Asia and the Middle-East. 

 

As a soloist, chamber musician, member of the Baborak Ensemble, Alma Ansambl, soloist in the multi-media show ‘Vivaldianno’ and 'Já, Secese Show', Concert Master at the Summer Academy Biel Orchestra, Prague Chamber Soloists and Czech Sinffonietta, Martina Bačová is a highly in demand musician.

 

Martina recently recorded at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in London with a bespoke London Orchestra and has recorded on Film & TV soundtracks for Universal Music, Sony/EMI, HBO, Czech Television and Czech Radio productions. She also performs with Oxford Philharmonic Orchestra in England...

 

She was awarded the ‘CD of the Month’ prize by the International Record Review Magazine for her solo album “Elegant Provocation” which featured music by Bartók, Janáček, Mácha and Enescu. And she performs regularly at some of the most prestigious Classical Music festivals such as; Mozart Woche festival in Salzburg, Prague Spring Festival, Smetanova Litomyšl, Janáčkovy Hukvaldy and the Jerusalem Festival.
